Evaporative Air Coolers

Evaporative air coolers are great for large areas; Warehouses, Workshops, Outdoor & Indoors.

Why evaporative air coolers are ideal for large areas

Evaporative air coolers are ideal for large areas because they efficiently cool large spaces.

In addition, evaporative air coolers are also very effective at humidifying the air and beneficial in dry climates.

How they work

They work by evaporating water into the air, which cools the air around it.

This process is much more efficient than traditional air conditioning systems, which use compressors to cool the air. Evaporative air coolers can cool large areas more effectively and efficiently than traditional air conditioners.

The benefits of using evaporative air coolers over other cooling methods

Evaporative air coolers have many benefits over other cooling methods. For one,  evaporative air coolers use much less energy than traditional air conditioners,  making them more cost-effective.

Additionally, evaporative air coolers do not emit harmful chemicals or pollutants into the air, making them a more environmentally-friendly option. Finally, evaporative air coolers can relieve allergies and respiratory problems by filtering out dust and other irritants from the air.

For these reasons, evaporative air coolers are an excellent choice for those looking for an efficient and eco-friendly way to stay cool.

How to choose the right evaporative air cooler for your needs

With so many different evaporative air coolers on the market, how do you know which one is right for your needs?

Here are a few things to consider when choosing an evaporative air cooler:

- The size of the unit. Evaporative air coolers come in various sizes, so it's essential to choose an appropriately sized one for the space you want to cool.  A too-large unit will be less effective, and a too-small unit will struggle to meet the demand.

- The features. Evaporative air coolers come with various features, from simple controls to remote operation and even built-in humidifiers. Decide which features are most important to you and look for units that offer them.

- The price. Evaporative air coolers can range from budget-friendly options to more expensive, high-end units. Determine how much you're willing to spend on an evaporative air cooler before beginning your search.

Maintenance tips to keep your cooler running smoothly all summer long

Here are a few tips to help you keep your evaporative air cooler in top condition:

- Clean the filter regularly. The filter is one of the most essential parts of an evaporative air cooler, as it helps to remove impurities from the air. Make sure to clean the filter at least once a month or more frequently if you live in a dusty area.

- Check the water level regularly if you haven’t chosen to connect a permanent water supply as evaporative air coolers need a constant supply of water to function correctly. If you are not going to use the cooler for a week or more drain all the water from the unit to prevent algae from growing whilst not in use. Always use an Algae biocide treatment in the water which can last up to 3 months and will also prevent Algae and Legionella bacteria from forming.
